Life has been pretty crazy these past few months. I relocated to New Orleans back in October and am now working full time for Touch Studios and Susco Solutions. Two companies in one office with shared employees. I'm really enjoying living in NOLA and working with some cool people.
I am still running StuckPixel on the side (with my new employers blessing), but I haven't had as much time to dedicated to those projects as I would like. If anyone knows of a web designer or sales person looking for work in the Hattiesburg or New Orleans areas, let me know.
First post!! I've been up late two nights in a row now getting this site finished up. I am very happy with the way it's looking and working. Not only is the front-end new, but I'm using this as a test-bed for developing a new CMS. I toyed around with CodeIgniter, but in the end I decided to built an MVC based CMS myself to get more acquainted with the structure. This makes the fourth iteration (second complete re-write) of my content management system. Previously I've called it the SPSCMS (for StuckPixel Studio Content Management System), but this one is going to be titled "Platform".
Anyways, this blog will contain things that I'm working on, things going on in my life and a place for me to put up things that interest me (whether it be design / development related or not). Time to get some sleep!
