Moving back to the US by digismack August 23, 2008, 4:49 pm
About two weeks ago Diana and I ended our relationship. I'm no longer engaged and with that in mind, I've decided to move back to the US. She was the only reason I stayed in Curacao after MGR shut down and now that we're not together anymore I'm going to go pursue my dreams again.
Good example of a bad logo... by digismack July 18, 2008, 7:12 pm
So, I was doing some research on Adobe Flex and I noticed a funny logo on their site. I don't know if this was done on purpose by the designer or not, but if so, good job sir.

For those who don't get it: The logo is for a company called MFG, but at first glance the logo says "OMFG", which is a well-known (to Internet users) abbreviation for "Oh My F*$^ing God".
Mexican Animated Graffiti Video by digismack July 6, 2008, 9:46 pm
I was checking out Joel Levin's blog over at swordplay.net and he has this really awesome video posted up. I thought I would post it here as well to share with you. Joel, aka "nok", is the Director of Information for QuakeCon.

CMS Update by digismack July 5, 2008, 2:39 pm
Well, I finally got around to implementing the new content management system (currently titled MiniMS) on HollowDepth. I've still got a lot of work to do on the project, but it's coming along well.

I've currently stopped adding new features and began a re-organization / re-write of the system based on stuff that I've learned while creating the first version. I'm hoping that within the next few months I'll have an initial public release. It will be really cool to see if people are interested in using the system.
Still undefeated (in Curacao)! by digismack June 30, 2008, 10:02 pm
I attended the CAGE 2008 LAN event at the World Trade Center - Curacao today and had a great time. I played in the Quake 3 tournament and won! I'm still undefeated in Quake 3 (and Quake 4) in Curacao. I wish I had that same record in all the other places I've played.

Update: Robert beat me once on Sunday 9-8. I then beat him 25-2 the next round. Good job Robert. ;)
